With the GEMINI next generation house, there is no difference between on-grid and off-grid. Exactly the same house, the same price, only off-grid it is harder to finance because the income from electricity sales is missing.

Power yield and power consumption vary greatly throughout the year. The tractor needs a lot of electricity during harvest time. How do you compensate for this? Simply produce as much electricity as possible and utilize the surplus in each case with power to methanol, ammonia or fertilizer.

  BYD with sodium batteries from 2023


Just read about a week ago, BYD has also announced to build sodium batteries. Now this video: BYD wants to mass produce sodium batteries for its own cars in 2023. Then there would be 3 price categories for batteries: lithium with expensive nickel and cobalt, lithium iron phosphate and sodium.

Which European car manufacturer is already saving costs by using the cheaper lithium iron phosphate batteries? I don't know of any. BYD only supplies cars with lithium iron phosphate, Tesla with some model variants. While in Europe they are not even at the first step of cost optimization, in China they are close to the 2nd step.

Let's compare it to the Android moment for Nokia. Nokia was undecided for a long time whether to perceive the iPhone as a serious competitor. When Nokia finally thought that it was a very serious competitor, suddenly Google and an abundant amount of smartphone manufacturers came up with Android.

Very similar story. For a long time, the fossil car industry was reluctant to perceive Tesla as a serious competitor. Now, all of a sudden, they're not only up against Tesla, but also BYD and other Chinese manufacturers.

VW has ousted Herbert Diess and BMW imagines that it can convert internal combustion engines into electric cars, of course it can, but they are much heavier and have clear disadvantages. BMW is also burning money in hydrogen fantasies.

The combination of more expensive batteries, higher labor costs, extreme energy prices and aversion to innovation could drastically reduce the European auto industry. Not that there weren't warnings about this. I brought this drastic warning from Prof. Spiegelberg at the SMT conference about this back in June 2009. Wednesday, November 30 finally the news: entry in the commercial register FN 592585 z. We set out to change the world: 2050 worldwide building standard ClimateProtectionSuperiorityHouse and GEMINI next Generation has a decent market share of new homes. Sounds like 2007 to say, 2035 new registration of cars with internal combustion engine will be banned in the EU.
